Mélanie will present the weather forecast on TV

Mélanie has a dream: To present the weather forecast on TV. Inclusion Europe’s French member Unapei supported the young lady, who has Down’s Syndrome, on her way. The challenge? Having 100.000 people like her facebook page, “Mélanie peut le faire” – “Mélanie can do it”. The goal was met within barely six days after the page was published and now Mélanie has received over 200.000 likes! Mélanie has since then appeared on TV and other media multiple times and is now preparing for her big day. She will do her appearance on Tuesday 14 March. Inclusion Europe congratulates Mélanie and the Unapei team for their successful campaign. It serves as a reminder that people with an intellectual disability can go far – and fulfil their dreams.
