Do you live and breathe Communications? Inclusion Europe is looking for a motivated and committed individual to join its team in Brussels for 6 months, starting on 30 March 2020.

Preparation for the General Meeting started at our face2face meeting in March. The General Meeting took place in May, during the Europe in Action Conference. More than 50 people attended, most of them self-advocates.

Inclusion Europe member Pentru Voi has taken an active role in advocating for the voting rights of persons with intellectual disabilities at both national and European level.

Inclusion Europe is demonstrating jointly with other disability and social rights organisations in front of the European Parliament. We are calling on Parliamentarians to promote a strong and effective European Accessibility Act.

Through its Read it Easy project, run in collaboration with software developer ONECLICK, FEAPS has finished adapting two popular Spanish novels into easy to read. The two books chosen, "Legends" by Gustavo Adolfo Becquer and "Voices of the Future” by Spanish National Award for Children’s Literature laureate Jordi Serra i Fabra, have been digitally enriched for a more accessible and enjoyable experience.

In the aftermath of the May European Parliament elections, the Open Society Foundations call for the adoption of an official European Union (EU) fundamental rights strategy.
