Women Enabled International is an organization fighting for the rights of women and girls with disabilities. They launched a survey aiming at mapping advocates working for the rights of women and girls with disabilities globally.

The German radio Deutschlandfunk has created a website called Nachrichtenleicht providing Easy-to-Read news, accessible to people with intellectual disabilities. No one should be excluded from information and people with intellectual disabilities have the right to access information that is easy to read and understand.

The recently founded Belgian association for siblings of people with intellectual disabilities, Fratriha, is organizing a kick-off meeting in Brussels on 10 October 2015.
