Social rights are rights that every citizen has
so they can live a good life.
For example, the right to health.
Or the right to have a flat or house to live in.
These rights are also important
for people with intellectual disabilities.

European Pillar of Social Rights.
We talked about different topics with him
during the meeting.
These were some of the topics:
- jobs for people with intellectual disabilities
- work-life balance
- the European Disability Strategy
- deinstitutionalisation
- support for families of people with intellectual disabilities
Inclusion Europe thanks Nicolas Schmit
for the meeting.
We hope we can work together with him
in the future.
