for young people with intellectual disabilities 

  

The 2 organisations are: 

         SPMP ČR, from Czechia 

         Zveza Sožitje, from Slovenia 

The 2 organisations worked together  

to create some booklets. 

Booklets are short books 

with useful information. 

These booklets have easy-to-read information 

for young people with intellectual disabilities.

They presented the booklets  

during a conference in Ljubljana.  

Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia. 

  

The booklets are about different topics 

related to sex and health.  

Some of the topics are: 

         being a woman 

         being a man 

         sexual violence 

         childbirth   

and other things 

  

The booklets are available  

in Czech, Slovene and English.

Our work brings the voice of people with intellectual disabilities and their families where decisions about their future are made.

This has always been incredibly important. It is even more so with the Covid pandemic drastic impact on their rights and lives.
