In 2019 we talk a lot
about the elections to the European Parliament.
We talk about:
- how to make voting accessible
for people with intellectual disabilities
and their families - why it is important to vote.
Every month we speak to one “Voting champion”:
this is a person who is doing a lot
for voting rights
of people with intellectual disabilities.

The European elections have finished
and now it’s time to announce
our Voting Champions for the month of May:
It’s all of you!
Here below you can see the pictures
of people with intellectual disabilities around Europe
who went to vote
at the European elections!
Congratulations to all of you!
Our April Voting Champion was Carmen Piquer:
“It’s your future too!”
Our March Voting Champions were Lucette and Dani Blanquart:
“Voting can help us make our dreams come true”
Our February Voting Champion was Andreas Zehetner:
“It is important that we are well represented in the EU Parliament”
Our January Voting Champion was László Bercse:
“For me it is very important to vote in the European elections“
