What if you learn more about inclusive education through the alphabet? As part of our campaign of 2020 focused on education, Inclusion Europe created the ABCs of inclusive education to help you understand what inclusive education is and what its benefits and challenges are.

Eirini Kareta is EU Programmes Manager at the British Council and one of the key organisers of the project “Inclusive Schools” (“InScool”, in short). We interviewed Ms. Kareta as part of our campaign of 2020 focused on inclusive education, motivated to learn more about the InScool project.

With our new campaign, we want to raise awareness about ongoing discrimination of students with intellectual disabilities, and get a discussion going on how we can make inclusive education happen everywhere in Europe!

Inclusion Europe member Insieme recently shared the results of a study on schooling integration of children with disabilities led in two cantons of Switzerland.

Unapei together with other French organisations - APAJH, APF, CCAH and Réunica - launched a campaign for inclusive schools in France. On 3 December - the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, 450 000 copies of a magazine Mon Quotidien (My Daily) were delivered to students all over the country to raise their awareness about inclusive learning.
